Reflecting on 2023 with GEV Wind Power
It’s time to look at some of our biggest successes, exciting developments, and proudest highlights this year at GEV Wind Power. We’re proud to say that 2023 has brought lots of accomplishments throughout all divisions as we continue to make huge advancements as a global leader in the wind industry.

Celebrating Safety Success at the SGRE NEMA Safety Conference
In the first quarter of 2023, GEV Wind Power representatives attended the SGRE NEMA Region Annual Contractors Safety Conference held in Amsterdam and were awarded the Major Projects Division Overall Winner for Safety Performance Delivery. The award was received in recognition of the positive safety observation reporting by the technicians deployed on SGRE MAJP offshore projects.
We’re proud to have a team who truly value the importance of QHSE, which is reflected by the vigilant reporting of in-field safety observations. Following a strong start to the year, we are delighted to have logged a record of >1,000 positive field safety observations across 2023, a testament to the culture across our organization in relation to safety reporting and individual accountability.

Moving into the US Fort Worth Headquarters
In 2023, our US division secured a new office facility located in Fort Worth, Texas, as it was clear that GEV Wind Power needed additional room given the rapid expansion. With Texas being a focal point of activity for wind energy, the 32,000 sq. ft. office and warehousing space provide a central facility to expand, take on larger-scale projects, and employ significantly more wind turbine technicians.
Working Across 5 Continents –
This year, GEV Wind Power has proudly worked across 5 continents on more than 200 individual wind projects across all divisions. Our projects have taken us to countries from all corners of the globe, completing large-scale multi-scope offshore campaigns, turbine commissioning, blade repairs, and maintenance for wind farms across the world.

OWOP – Offshore Wind O&M Partnership Alliance
GEV Wind Power’s UK division recently teamed up with RES Group, Outreach Offshore, and Rix Renewables to officially launch the Offshore Wind O&M Partnership (OWOP) – a collective of complementary service companies based in the UK – to supply a complete package of quality, long-term O&M services to offshore wind asset owners.
The vision of the partnership fully aligns with our own, and we look forward to collaborating on some of the UK’s most notable offshore wind projects alongside our alliance partners in the near future.

RIGCOM Joins GEV Wind Power
One of our most anticipated moments this year has been welcoming RIGCOM to the GEV Group, further establishing our global support network. As the leading service provider for field-deployed rotor blade maintenance in Australia and the APAC region, RIGCOM brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team.
The acquisition will allow the GEV Group to provide enhanced services to a client base that operates globally, ensuring alignment across all markets in key areas such as health & safety, quality, and project execution.

Moving into 2024
We have lots of exciting developments in the pipeline for 2024. With a growing team and key industry work scopes secured, we anticipate another successful and busy season for GEV Wind Power looking ahead.
