Our Role at GEV Wind Power

Our role is critical in supporting power generation from wind energy, where we are the market leader for maintaining one of the key components, the rotor blades. In the event that the blades become damaged or simply lose their structural integrity through erosion from wind and rain, their efficiency and ability to produce power reduces dramatically. Our job is to ensure the blades keep their profile and are optimum for producing electricity.

Our work is challenging – wind turbines are typically located in locations proven to be windy and therefore safety is paramount in everything we do, especially for our technicians who can usually be found ascending a 75m rotor blade!
