Turbine Commissioning Process
The commissioning of a wind turbine is a key service within a defined 4-stage process, during the construction/installation of a wind turbine. Once constructed, the commissioning begins on a wind turbine, and is the core element in ensuring your wind turbine is able to function correctly, and provide its most efficient AEP (Annual Energy Production).
GEV Wind Power offer commissioning services, as well as other offerings to support OEM’s and park owners, during this 4-stage process in safely securing and installing your wind turbine during its journey from the factory to wind farm.
Pre-Assembly
Collecting accurately referenced video and imagery from the inside of your blades is the first step.
Construction
GEV Wind Power are able to provide services during the construction/installation of your wind turbine.
Commissioning
Our commissioning technicians are able to troubleshoot and review all components throughout the wind turbine.
Servicing
GEV Wind Power offers a range of servicing across all core components of your wind turbine.
Pre-Assembly
GEV are able to offer accurate blade inspections and review the structural integrity of the blade inside and out. We provide a fast and efficient solution of high level technician competency in order to produce an accurate and thorough assessment report on the condition of the blades. Our technical teams will then advise and support you on the best approach to any repairs needed.
Our highly specialised and experienced teams of IRATA and SPRAT certified rope access technicians are a fast and cost-efficient solution for a range of wind turbine maintenance activities.
Complementing our rope technicians, we are able to utilise blade access platforms supplemented by our patented Ventura Habitat to provide weatherproof all-year solutions, across the globe.
Construction/ Installation
GEV Wind Power are able to provide services during the construction/installation of your wind turbine, ensuring all aspects of supervision and management are delivered making us your provider of choice.
Our global talent pool includes in-field expertise to provide all aspects of installation, from assembly activities, through to electrical component installation.

Standard accreditation, formalises our commissioners capability, with many holding the globally recognized; OSHA 10 Construction & GWO BTT certifications.
