North American Wind Academy
GEV Training
The GEV North American Wind Academy delivers industry-specific training for technicians working in the wind energy sector, including fully certified GWO blade repair courses. The new facility offers in-house training capabilities from GEV Wind Power’s US Headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas.
Established in 2024, the academy supports the growing demands of the wind market across North America, whilst enhancing technician skill-sets.
A core part of the academy is its blade repair facility, with dedicated work stations for in-depth trade testing and blade repair training. The academy also has a 2-meter platform structure for rope access training, a dedicated BTT equipment structure and a classroom setting for group sessions.

GEV Wind Power’s North American Wind Academy has an extensive team of qualified in-house training instructors.
Based within GEV’s Fort Worth, Texas Headquarters, the Academy is fully equipped with platform structures, classroom settings and trade testing stations.
The North American Wind Academy has been a highly anticipated development as part of GEV Wind Power's continued growth in North America. The academy allows GEV to further strengthen technician capabilities, whilst setting a standard that our clients can rely on.

The North American Wind Academy offers fully accredited Global Wind Organisation (GWO) courses in Wind Blade Repair and Maintenance to in-house technicians at GEV Wind Power.
