The launch of the new operational division, based in Taichung, serves as a strategic milestone that strengthens GEV’s position in the Asia-Pacific region as a leading global provider of wind turbine maintenance services.
GEV Wind Power has actively supported the energy transition across the region providing regional support for more than 10 years. The establishment of the new office represents a significant investment by the business, highlighting the demand for further development and a greater local presence to support clients within the wind energy sector.

Taiwan’s offshore wind capacity is projected to reach a capacity of around 15GW by the end of 2035, positioning it as a cornerstone of the region’s renewable energy transition. With world-class wind resources and ambitious national decarbonization targets, Taiwan represents a critical growth opportunity for the renewable sector.
With the addition of Taiwan operations, GEV now operates a fully integrated global service network spanning the UK, Europe, Australia, North America, and Asia-Pacific, positioned to support the world’s leading wind energy OEMs and service operators across key markets.
Under the leadership of Emma Mason, Head of Taiwan Operations, the division will deliver the technical excellence, safety standards, and operational reliability that GEV Wind Power clients expect.
