GEV Wind Power is excited to announce that a new North American facility has been established in Alberta, Canada to support the ongoing growth of GEV’s North American division.
The property, based in Medicine Hat, Alberta, is strategically located to provide enhanced support to the increasing number of wind farms in the local region. The establishment of the new facility follows a series of successful campaigns across the Canada region, completed by GEV Wind Power, highlighting the demand for further development and a greater presence to support clients within the wind energy sector.
Since GEV secured its first North American project in 2016, the business has been dedicated to supporting wind energy growth across both the U.S and Canada, providing in-field turbine maintenance and repair services.
While GEV’s Headquarters based in Fort Worth, Texas, remains a key operational hub and home to the GEV North American Wind Academy, it is clear that GEV is ready for further expansion to meet the increasing demands of the local wind market, marking another significant milestone for GEV’s U.S division.
“The new facility location will enhance GEV’s ability to efficiently mobilize resources for repair and maintenance projects across Canada, further strengthening our commitment to the region’s wind energy sector.”
David Fletcher, GEV Group CEO
