Eneco is one of the largest producers and suppliers of clean electricity and heat in the Netherlands. They have invested heavily in renewable technologies to support their 2030 ambition to ‘enable as many people as possible to live a sustainable life.’  In 2017 Eneco invested a further €727mil in clean energy.  Within that portfolio lies some 475MW of wind capacity with a further 370MW under construction.  GEV Wind Power have been building close relationships with Eneco over the recent years and have now been awarded the contract for the supply maintenance of blades at the 120MW Princess Amalia wind farm.

Eneco recognises the value in utilising smart and progressive asset management providers, with the wind farm now entering a post-subsidy phase of operations.  GEV are delighted to be part of a service consortium, which includes OER Energy (technicians for main component replacement), MPI (crane vessels), Siemens Gamesa Renewables  (gearboxes) together with MHIV for ongoing preventative maintenance.  Further details of the award can be found at  https://news.enecogroup.com/smart-asset-management-essential-after-tenth-anniversary-of–prinses-amalia-wind-farm/
